Presenter's Bio:

Maria is a counsellor and psychotherapist, working in a bereavement charity.  She also brings almost 20 years experience as a healthcare worker in a neonatal intensive care unit.  Her research explores how maternal identity is understood in the NICU setting.

Event Outline:

This networking event will explore maternal identity and bonding within the NICU setting.  Attendees will be given the opportunity to challenge beliefs and bias around bonding and examine how cultural and societal expectations mayy affect the developing maternal identity and how this might present in the therapy room.

CPD Certs will be emailed to participants after attendance.
